That time I tried to make roses from clay
A while back I said that I was totally intrigued by the beautiful things people could make out of clay and that I also wanted to try it out. And recently in the shops I saw a packet of air-dry modelling clay for a ridicoulisly low price, so yeah, why not give it a try?
The clay was grey, like the clay back in school but then less hard to knead. I had to get used to it, but eventually I made these 5 roses from a small portion of the packet. The last try is the best I think đ
The painting thing I still need to contemplate. I tried some nail polish on two of the roses and that seems to stick.
Successful first try and I still have plenty of clay left to keep practising. Only thing is I don’t know what to make of the grey clay. Ideas anyone?
