Retro crop top

As promised, I still needed to show you the project I recently completed in sewing class.

Perhaps the fabric is not unfamiliar to you?

I previously made this retro culottes with it.
The pants turned out to be a huge success with the recipient and I still had a reasonable amount of fabric left, so I wanted to make another item with it.

What wasn’t so hard to decide, considering the pattern for the pants in the magazine was combined with a crop top.
The only difficulty was that the pattern required a stretchy fabric, while this fabric is pure cotton. But I eventually solved this by making a slit in the neck.

And tada! Cute right?
