Pink birthday
For the birthday of one of my nieces, I once again resorted to an old favourite pattern, the Catalina dress from The Simple Life Pattern Company.
I’ve already made so many versions of this dress, but I never tire of it. Fairly simple to make, with always a stunning and practical result.
For these birthday dresses I dived into my pink fabrics.

Little girls grow up way too fast and before I’ll know it, they’ll no longer want to wear pink. So high time I start using up all those pink fabric I keep in my stash!
I made a first dress with a light pink fabric with a feather pattern on it.
For the lining I just used simple white cotton. The elastic for the back is also left-overs from when I was sewing face masks.

The second dress is made of a pink glitter fabric.
For the lining I used a leftover pink cotton and for the elastic the same leftovers as before.
Another two cheery dresses as a result!
Cheers,
Charlotte
